Minimum Job Requirements: · 3 to 6 years accounting experience in the financial services industry. · A fixed income or derivative product background is preferred. · Should be a self-starter, control oriented and attentive to detail. · Strong PC Skills - Excel and Access · Good people and communication skills Position Description: The successful candidate will provide accounting support for Firm's Municipal Derivatives business. Products include interest rate swaps & swaptions, total return swaps, proprietary bond portfolio positions, and structured products. Responsibilities will include Daily P/L, Risk P/L, inventory price testing and the month end accounting close. Detailed accounting for bond derivative structures and maintenance of the Special Purpose Entity database will also be required. Direct contact with the Trading Desk and Banking.
