Vice President, Management Reporting for Global Investment Bank

Premier worldwide investment banking firm (US headquartered) needs Vice President for their Tokyo office for management reporting function. Should be a mid-career financial services accounting and management reporting professional and a Japanese national who is bilingual English and Japanese. Responsible for monthly management reports, regulatory reports, sales and operational expenses, and P&Ls. Will support new product launches, ensure that Assets Under Management (AUM) and revenue table by clients and/or funds are maintained and proper feed is performed on a monthly basis. Will be developing and improving the management reporting system, developing a range of forecasts to monitor the financial results of the business, preparing annual budgets, monitoring on a monthly basis the budget vs actuals, and monitor headcount vs staff costs on a monthly basis with budget. Must be able to keep up-to-date on the Firm's complexities, structure and global linkage, and must maintain the principles and philosophy of Firm's corporate culture. This position reports to the CFO. Compensation at 15M+ yen per year plus bonus.
