Minimum Job Requirements: Essential Skills: Team Management - ability to work well in a team environment. Functional management - excellent verbal and written communications skills required. Analytical skill - strong analytical skills combined with problem-solving capabilities. Financial Services experience - Current working knowledge of financial services industry preferable. Advanced Excel skills. Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently. Desired Skills: Understanding of product lines - Working knowledge of the key business areas of Firm. Must be able to manage divergent needs, groups, and participants across various levels. Position Description: Overall Objective of Project: The Finance/Risk Reconciliation project has been established to ensure the Firm's Books and Records are accurately represented in the data used for Credit and Capital Calculations. The team is responsible for overall coordination and project management across the various product streams with a focus on data analysis, gap identification, solution analysis and recommendation and ensuring proper implementation. The groups focus is on meeting BASEL II requirements but with an eye to addressing associated additional reconciliations required of Finance. To ensure certain trade and indicative data is complete, accurate and received on a timely basis: Perform data analysis Identify gaps Work with business units and technology teams to identify potential solutions Develop specifications that meet various firm needs (i.e. Credit, Regulatory, Reporting) Work with functional areas on specifications and data feeds Perform User Acceptance Testing Ensure proper implementation Run/Participate in Working Group Meetings Participate in Steering Committee Meetings To steer working groups towards identification and implementation of a daily control and systems infrastructure environment required to assist in ensuring compliance with Corporate policies and to satisfy regulatory requirements
