Minimum Job Requirements: · At least 7 years of relevant audit, accounting or operations experience · Confident team player · Highly motivated · Excellent interpersonal and writing skills · Audit experience within the securities and energy industry is highly desirable · Finance background highly desirable Position Description: Merrill Lynch's Corporate Audit Department examines, evaluates, and reports on the adequacy of internal controls within Firm in order to contribute to the proper, efficient, and effective use of resources. Corporate Audit includes about 150 professionals worldwide who focus on our Global Markets and Investment Banking, Global Private Client, Technology and Investment Management businesses. The successful candidate will audit the the Merrill Lynch Global Commodities Group, which sits within Global Markets & Investment Banking (GMI). S/he will assist with all phases of the audit process, including but not limited to: · Participating in business focused projects. · Making presentations to business/support management. · Maintaining strong working relationships with business management. · Writing and discussing audit issues and action plans. · Travel on an as needed basis to offices in Houston (approximately 30%).
